    VINTAGE SPEEDWAY CARS TODAY

    Went to the engine start and tune up day held by the Vintage Speedcar Assn. today at Rocklea Showgrounds on the 1/3 mile trotting track. Attached are a few photos of Offys and a very neat car powered by a Toyota twin cam. No.4 is a recent restoration which was imported from the US. Looks, goes, and sounds the part. The Clough brothers brought two of theirs but 99 didn't get off the trailer whilst I was there. There was another Offy car I had not seen before. It has the inlet and exhaust sides transposed like Arthur Sollit's Kurtis Kraft roadster.

    Since the club moved to a thirty year rule and lifted the restrictions on post-roll cage cars, lots of cage car owners have joined. Numerous VW inspired lightweight cars, Scat, Autokraft, Sesco are running now.

    I don't know what I am doing wrong. I am trying to put 5 photos in each post but this crappy system of attaching photos doesn't work. I am not going to bother further..

    Use photobucket.
    They have a very quick bulk uploader,then its a simple copy and paste here.All freeware.

    If I can't do them in a few mouse clicks from Windows My Pictures I won't bother. I can do attachments to e-mails this way. I don't need something else to pigfrig around with. I already have an adequate photo storage and attaching system. Last week I was able to attach five photos per post of the Leyburn Sprints but tonight the bloody system is only accepting one photo per post. Aulro should get with it.

    Andrew, look at "Leyburn Sprints 2010" thread of 22/8/10. The system allowed me to post five (only) photos per post then. Why not today? I can post unlimited photos on an e-mail with Yahoo! Mail, by the way.
