I have heard the same rumours for a while, if so then it would be a mixed blessing as the place is being overun by dickheads I'm surprised that no one has been killed by the reckless behaviour of the idiots who frequent there at times.

I've been going to 'Cruiser for over 10 years and in recent times it hasn't been as enjoyable as it has been in the past. Still it's sad that we will loose another place to go off-road at but someone else will open up a park as they do.

I have often pondered opening up a 4X4 park here but Insurance and dealing with crazy and or intoxicated people has put me off for now. Too many dangers here in these hills. If you make big mistake it could be fatal.
I have the facility as in showers, toilets and even some accommodation. Its just the liabilities
Still working on it. If it ever happens will be by invite only for a start

This was posted on OL a while back. I think someone on there (RUFF?) phoned Alben (owner of LCMP) and was told the rumours are just that.

The park has been up for sale for a long time, but it is still on the market.

We all need to talk. It may be possible to do this with a level headed panel.

We certainly need more 4wd parks now with track closures, there is also lack of parks within a reasonable drive of Sydney(or newcastle in my case)

It would be a shame to see LCMP close, ive been keen to get along for a look there for ages now.
