Last trip was Googs track. We struck some heavy rain and a mouse plague on the way. Most of the other LROCV folk on the trip were tent/swag people. They were very impressed with ease of set up and the fact that each evening I could retire to my comfortable cosy "coocoon" without sharing my bed with the myriads of mice running everywhere.
Was a great trip as we went up to Coober Pedy and then to William Ck where we took a flight over Lake Eyre. That was in late July.
Now want ride on the Cooper Ferry but has been too wet.So going to Sydney for the expo instead and will hopefully get up the Cooper next month.
For those interested mine is the green Defender on Mulgo's website.
Are the Ho Hars going to finish the remainder of the Darling run?Plenty of water now
Cheers,
Mary
