Thread: big red island

was watching a show yesterday that was doing a thing on all the rain and floods down around lake eyre.
well they showed big red and it was an island surounded by water never thought id ever see or here of that
anyon got some pics

We returned from crossing the Simpson 3 weeks ago in the Disco 4. That was including Big Red which even 3 weeks ago, before the recent rains, had a lot of water around it causing some decent detours. The attached hopefully gives you some idea from the top of Big Red. The Disco was great -anyone else taken it thru the Simpson yet?
