did some casual teaching today and was in a classroom which overlooks the steps to another. Saw a couple of the kids fiddling with something under the steps (steps lead into the metal work room). Went over and had a look at what they were doing and they had made a steel bayonet type blade out of some flat steel and welded a handle on it. Overall length was about 35cm, with the edges ground down into knife edges, they werent overly sharp but they'd do some damage. Principal called the police and the police are charging them. I just dont get the youth of today, present company excluded of course Tony

I'll be there on sunday aswell so looking forward to putting some faces to some of the newer names on the site.

I'll be wearing my green polo with the yellow piping and the land rover badge with AULRO.com and Ace embroided around the logo that Hiline had made up many years ago so if you see me come and and say g'day

Another story, I was leaving our base at Cardiff, driving a 21 seater Coaster Bus, and these three young drunk hoods were walking up the road and decided that they did not like me blocking their way as I was trying to get onto the road. They had a couple of half empty long necks in their hands, next thing they smashed them against the windscreen of the bus, smashing the drivers mirror and luckily not breaking the windscreen, I was stunned by the sudden attack and the anger displayed by these young blokes.
I am not youth bashing but a lot of young people seem to have a big dose of "attitude" nowadays.!!!

i will be wearing my school jumper that has schmierer on the back of it

Know how you feel mate, i deal with drunken pointless idiotic behaviour on a nightly basis in my new career. Some of it astounds me, i dont drink much and havent been really drunk in a long time but even when i do get really drunk i can still be nice to other human beings and respect other peoples property.
