    Supposedly Nathan Tinkler has bought at least half the team.

    Tinkler is the ex-mine sparkie that borrowed $1/2 million, lobbied Asian investors to invest the rest of the $29.5 million in a coal mine no one else was interested in then sold his stake for $275 million thirteen months later.

    He owns Pattinack Thoroughbred Stud here in the Hunter, bailed the Newcastle A-League team, etc.
