    V8 Supercar Fever

    Well, V8 Supercars have officially hit Bathurst.

    With the Pantek parade kicking it off officially this morning the town is packed with people and there are already thousands of people on the mountain, some of them enduring rainy miserable weather every night since Saturday night.

    Working day shift tomorrow and Friday then night shift saturday and sunday. Cant wait, V8 Supercar fan or not theres no sporting event like Bathurst.

    Bring on sunday.

    Will do, im going up for the last 2/3rds of the race after some sleep on sunday morning, will be sure to take a heap. Going up for the shootout on saturday arvo so will take some then to.

    other than the v8 supercars website there isnt much on the net, they try and get you to buy the program, you may find some stuff if you google Bathurst city council and see whats on their site, they might have the in town stuff listed.

    I look forward to Bathurst weekend every year! It's my holy day, where copious amounts of beer and bourbon is consumed and the only day that I can get away with being drunk and passed out on the lounge! LoL

    Did the sojourn there 5 years ago........Thursday through to Monday camped on the top of the Mountain.

    What can one say.....it was an experience.
