    Thieving scum!

Woke up to find 2 doors on the 110 open (parked outside - as we have had a skip in the driveway).

They didn't damage anything to get in (so not sure if one of the doors was left unlocked).

They stole out of the centre console:
A hiking gas cooker (new), but not the (new) gas bottle that goes with it.
The wired controller for my winch, but not the wireless controller
A new kenwood cd player that a mate gave me (just a cheapie).

Fortunately the vehicle was undamaged, and they didn't steal any CDs or more expensive stuff. Very strange...

We have been having lots of troubles in bathurst with steal from motor vehicle offences. Every few days the just go around town and knock over 10-15 cars. We are slowly catching them just so the magistate can give them a slap on the wrist and let them back out again.

Had the rats at mine last week, unscrewed the fishing rod tube cap on the roof rack, removed my sand flag pole (old beach rod) and walked. They must have found no use for it as I found it at the side of the road. They did leave the tube cap for me on top of the spare wheel. I think my dog may have disturbed them as the boat had not been touched.

Ben, go for wander down the road, maybe to the local park, or just keep an eye out along the footpath.
I found most of the contents of my wallet down the creek years ago. What's of no use to them, they don't cary for very far.

There definitely needs to be stiffer penalties for stuff like this. Especially for the younger kids. The can get caught three times and walk away with a caution before they can be put before the court. So that means we need to catch them doing the same **** three times before we can really put them before the court, then once before the court they need to be done a few times before the court says enough is enough.

We finally had one of our regulars go to Juvenille detention after being caught so many times the court had no choice. They told him 3 times "Next time your in juvenille detention".
