    crap

My opinion.... anything convertable except (add to the list if you want)jeep, mini moke, ac cobra, and series rover is lame... really lame like a barbie car. Im sorry mate, I think they just cut the rust off and kept going. don't even think about canvas too. People in topless cars get heat stroke in summer.

BUT my taste in cars are not exactly normal or socially accepted. it's usually more interesting that way. so it's your call. my wife was not impressed with my d1 choice but now I can't get her out of it

    cheers

You would need to have it engineered to get it registered. It really depends on weather the guy who was doing the modifications worked off of engineers papers or just went about doing it by him self, as you may need to modify his modifications to get it ready for registration.

The engine, convertible conversion and possibly the suspension would all need engineers plates.

But thats only what i would think

Probably worth it for the PTO adaptor and PTO winch and setup, the rest could be stripped and sold.

If it was a 2 door I would look but being a 4 door by taking off the roof its lost all its strength in the body.

Plus the spanner says it has a Ford 3.8 V6 mmmmm me thinks its got a holden engine.

Nice thought but can't condone his actions........

Engineers report or start saving for some legal paperwork to come your way!!!

At the very least think of your personal safety.... if it rolls you will be flattened....

There's one in Kalgoorlie that looks much better than that one. At least I think it's still around - was in someone's backyard with a few other Landrovers last time I saw it. This one's a burgundy red colour and I think from memory it's a two door.
    Cheers .........

2 door would look better I think - the 4 door looks a bit... hmm. If I were going to all that trouble, then I think I would do a ute - looks better, and easier to engineer.
