If you're worried about insects I'm pretty sure the mob who make the break-down shovel with the composite handle and the matching axe, along with lights, shower poles, etc. (can't for the life of me remember their name) make strip lights like this that you can switch between white and yellow. ie every second LED is different.

Great idea. I was going down this path with the SIII before I called a halt to things for a while.

This weekend will be the first trip since fitting it.

    Kelvin,
The seller who I got mine from doesn't seem to be listing it any more, but this is probably the same stuff by the sound of it >>>> LED Flexible Strip <<<<
You can cut it to any length, in multiples of 3 led's (60 led's per metre). I bought a 1 metre length pre-wired at one end and that worked out perfectly for over the back door of the County. We tried it out over the Melb Cup long weekend, very happy with the light output.......well worth it.

    Cheers, Murray

It's quite a bit cheaper in a roll, just under $50 for 5 metres including postage......... 5 Metre Roll LED Strip ........
