The other half is to blame for me.
My intro came with a 3 hour drive out Geraldton way to buy his 110. He drove for half an hour, we swapped, he fell asleep so I drove the rest of the way. Typical. He lit up like a kid at christmas when he saw the Defender. I don't think I've seen him try so hard to feign disinterest in an attempt to screwdown the price. He already had the cheque in his wallet written out, not sure who he thought he was fooling!
Needless to say he drove it home. From there it was a choice between driving in my car or his...no contest. It's not the smoothest ride but I do love it. Even if it has meant cringing and hoping the neighbours aren't home when a light shows up on the dash! From the day he bought the 110 I think I've learnt more about cars than I have my whole life - and now it's a way of life with the business venture :)
