I am on my third set and never had the before mentioned drama's. I guess if you take into account, how many are being made, you will have the occasional dodgy tyre.
Having said that, it should be reconised as a manufacturing fault and replaced me thinks.
12 years and several sets of BFG ATs for me.....two and a half on the current set. All without an issue.
I must say that apart from BFG AT's getting ripped apart on loose gravel roads I have had a bloody good run out of them. I have no idea of the milage because I never paid any attention to my speedo when I had them fitted but it must be better than 60K
I'm not using them again only because I want to try a differnt pattern and level of off road ability
