The batteries are 2 banks of 2..(24v) carry 2 spare banks for emergencies..like this..

Certainly no hope of push starting it:p:p

I've seen it happen after the breather holes have been blocked with dirt and the gas built up.Maintenance free are the go. Pat

Gas build up and a dodgey conection will do it Ean.

Just yesterday I parted with $170 for one of these batteries. I bought calcium but it seems they use the same stickers?
My original one has 2005 2006 2007 date stickers on them so its at least 3 years old.

I assume those batteries were lead acid?

To my knowledge they are..Sealed maintainence free battery

MF 31-931...950 cca lead acid battery New 7-2009 and the dates on the battery are 2009-10-11.

As i said been using them for about 5 yrs and my first problem..
