    Ford was the only one of the big American car companies who wasnt bailed out by the g'ment.

    Not expecting any great innovations out of GM or Chrysler with Obama as their boss.

    Americans make some of the best farm equipement,trucks,mining machines etc there is.They cannot for the life of them make a good car,not one. Pat

    Maybe 1990-1995 they did:

    But I do believe the current 6.2L Supercharged V8 (otherwise known as LS9) used in the current ZR1 Corvette is GM developed.
