    It still bugs me ...

Apropos of our recent discussions about 4x4 Action mag and it's other zillions of off spring publications - here I am looking in the mag factory today and I see two lone titles ...

Nissan Action and Toyota Action ....

Ok ... where the hell is Land Rover action then? Don't let anybody tell you sales of Land Rovers are slow ... I see about 15-20 Disco's and various other sundry Land Rovers each day driving about, there are plenty out there. So where is our own mag ... Land Rover action?

Maybe I'll just send a letter to the editors and make a request ... who knows, maybe some proactive letter writing from the LR community might spur them into some ACTION!

    Simon.

Not to mention the mass of land rover specialist businesses in Oz that would happily advertise in it.

    simple...

you pay your $50K for your shed on wheels

they outlay their $70K and then spend $400+ on mag subscriptions to learn how to upgrade their vehicle to the standard required. They then spend a small fortune getting their rig to get to where the shed got stuck.

and then you remember to lock in the center diff.

In fits of apocalyptic rage they throw more money into their rides....

then when you finally decide to throw a thou at it you out perform them again. Invariably they ask the secret I usually tell them "just replaced the worn out H/T rubber with some A/T stuff. Oh and I bought something that was designed to go offroad without needing me to check with OPEC first.
