Thread: Intermintant rear windows....

Hi All,I have a bit of a weird problem,the rear windows on my 96 S1 will only go down after a period of time after starting upNow its only rear and i have checked the switches which all seem to be operating as they should.Its like they need to warm up before operating,its more annoying than anything really.If anyone has any ideas before i start pulling door trims off and motors out, that would be great.Thanks..

It is a cold soldered joint in the window control unit located behind/under glove box. Use search for details of this fix.
