Nothing to do with poppies mate - Webber is just not quite as good as he thinks he is - but he might now just realise it now - I suspect he will do very well next year.
This year - not bad for the No 2 driver but not as good as the No 1 driver.

Considering he has made a living out of racing without any support from Australia and has reached F1 without paying for his drive or getting a drive because the sponsor put him there means he has to be good at what he does.Red Bull has resigned him too, they would have drivers jumping over themselves to get that ride. Pat
Yeah, there wasn't a lot of actual passing on the track :p But it is one of those HK circuits and they are often not too good for passing.
However there was lots happening, and lots of strategy. There was actually some interesting stuff happening up front but it wasn't always being shown. Like the decision to throw FM at Webber to control him, which failed because Webber got past Alguersuari (note to Crash fans - he did not crash into him) and then did a couple of good laps so FM came out behind. And then they tried the same thing with Alonso which gifted the championship to Crash. I thought that was quite amusing. :)
I'd suggest next year you go to f1.com and use the live timing. It enables you to see what everyone is doing.
I believe one of these two up and coming stars will replace Mark Webber when the time comes, both have lots of talent.
Aussie Daniel Ricciardo or frenchman Jean-Eric Vergne, although rumour has it that Daniel has fallen out with Red Bull's Helmut Marko over GP2.
Both of these drivers are doing the F1's Young Driver Test at the Yas Marina circuit, which kicked off today.
I think Will Power has some potential aswell, just needs to be honing his skills somewhere other than Indy Car. Very few Indy Car drivers make a successful move to F1. Mansel showed the Indy Car world what F1 drivers can do when the move from F1 to Indy Car though.
Funny you mentioned Will Power, guess who gave him the money he needed to break into Indy cars?. Pat
I knew this guy Derek Daly back in the late '70's, an amazing character and certainly had the luck of the Irish :D
