    Lighter defender

I'd reckon my defender is a few kilos lighter after I got inside with the hose today, don't really know where all the dust was hiding, but a lot was in the marine carpet that lines the wheel arches, I'd say a few kilos ended up in the gutter, then i got some more of the Goodooga mud out from underneath.

It's nearly clean again - shedding a combination of Cape and Madigan dust .

We did a trip to the desert area of NW Vic in the wet. A couple of weeks after the trip, I chipped off all the dry mud under the County onto the shed floor before I washed it. There was so much of it that I scooped it into buckets and, just for interest, weighed it................80kg ......... and that was dry weight.
