Hi rob, AFAIK the only difference is the mirror shape, and because the weathershield buts up closely to the mirror and its surround, it may not fit yours. However, yours has bigger mirrors, so maybe a bit of trimming would work?

Are the early disco doors the same shape around the window as the later ones, talking only series one here. Been looking for a weather sheild and can buy a new one to suit upto 94, are the 97 the same

I had a pre update D1 with a weather shield. I took it off on put it on my new post update D1 - the door frame profile is ever so slightly different but it does fit on with a little jiggling and double sided tape along the bottom edge.

RAA441 is the 'genuine' LR weathershield for the RH door.
Not the cheapest accessory available at around $70 retail but you can get one if you really want one.
