Nov UK trip Pics. Gaydon/Coventry etc

Time flys when you are running around all over the place just to please family and friends, however i have had the oppertunity to go to a number of Uk Museums, that i had never been to before Gaydon and the Coventry Road Transport Museum, if you ever go to the UK, both these are well worth the vist. I also visited a museum in Hull, and yesterday had a tour of Jacksons of Bawtry ( ex MOD/NATO stuff ) talk about boys and there toys this place had everything, the SAXON's and 127 Rapier Land Rover would have been on the shopping list but they want big money for these...

Heres some pics of some good and bad british motor vehicles.......

Hi juddy, we used to live twenty minutes from Gaydon and spent many a happy weekend in there there's some interesting reading in those archives

Funniest moment was when they had a jaguar F1 mock up car by the front entrance, my eldest lad who was about six at the time decided to see if he could push it while nobody was looking. Needless to say it fell apart in a big heap and we quickly walked off whistling

Gaydon is a great museum which if necessary you can combine with a home of Shakespeare culture visit to keep the rest of the party on side as they are close together.

Have been a few times. A company I used to work for had its induction day at the museum - paid to spend the day wandering the site, free lunch and a trip around the 4x4 track - managed to be inducted twice !
