Wave and Wave often :)

I thought the landy wave was predominately a Defender thing, or did it just start with Defers. Excuse me, I mean Series.

If I have been seen by the other Defer owners I have gotten a wave each time. I remember the first time I was telling my wife about it and holy smokes a 110 came out of the blue. I said you watch this, and wrestling with his rig through a round about he still managed to get a wave in, magic.
My wife thinks it's very funny, if a little odd. And the kids will love it once they are on to it.
I recon it doesn't hurt to wave even if you don't get a response. I'm not always watching on coming traffic, or busy flicking the radio or something, so I have probably snubbed someone unintentionally.

Always got lots of waves in the Series, got lots in the Deefer but no one waves at me in a Disco even though I wave first??
Most mornings I wave at mac1308 on his way to work and he never waves back. Probably says to himself "Who's that idiot in a Mazda BT50 who waves at me in my Disco?" :)

For the Disco's,, it certainly won't be for lack of trying on my behalf,,, SWMBO reckons I'm just an idiot,, haha, but was impressed when one was returned, :D
I'll keep waving to all and sundry at every available opportunity when I see them.

I got a wave from an interstate RRS while on Bribie Is on Monday :eek: but I was in the RRC :) yup! and I waved back a little late though, in shock :D

have you been heading into Loagan Village round about 5.30 6.00 am time slot in a yellow coloured series shorty,if so I have seen you but being in bosses car (hsv tonner)by the time i notice we are long since passed :) so take this as a proxy wave ;)

yep sometimes I start that early...my pic in the signature is my daily driver....oh and comino gold BTW:D..next time stick you hand out the window I will notice then:D...got a wave from a charade or something the other day bigarm out the window:confused:

I cannot recall having ever received a "return wave" from a Series driver.:(

I could probably understand this if I was in a RRS, Discovery or Freelander (no offence you blokes in these fine examples of the marque) but the Lord forbid, I drive a Defender so there is really no excuse.:(

Right when we drive through Albruy in Dec I will wave at every land Rover even the defenders:o:D:p:wasntme:
