    Queanbeyan Flooded

Looks pretty high, hope all from here are OK, If your planning on going south, you'll need to go via the Princes Hwy.

Hume Highway to close at Tarcutta

Sorry wrong town and wrong state - the porn and fireworks are all safe and sound over the border in the ACT.

There are a few pics attached from the QBN floods, hopefully I've attached them correctly! These were taken around 11am this morning when it was peaking.

There's a fair bit of water around at the moment. They've got four of the five gates open at Scrivener Dam (from Lake B-G into the Murrumbidgee) and there's a lot of water headed downstream towards Lake Burrinjuck, Wagga and the riverina. Last time (and only time) they had all five gates open was the floods of 1976.

Burrinjuck was alreadt at capacity and also had it's gates open before the QBN flooding.
    We have roads again .
My place was a full flowing river. Garage totaly flooded and the beast sank in the yard.

My inlaws are awaiting the outcome from the insurance co regarding their place.
