I notice that Woolies isn't going to follow suit, so maybe Coles just might to toe the line/return to the fold, in 12 months time ;)
But, the removal of hormones from some of the food chain could be w good thing, then the need for 12 year old boys to shave and 9 year old girls to wear a bra may decrease also the incidents of ADHD/Hyperactivity etc may also drop, how many people over 45 can remember class mates having these illnesses/problems, or is it just since the advent of hormones in meat/poultry.;)
my 2c worth
cheers

While going back to more natural products is a GREAT thing you can BET that Coles will NOT continue to absorb millions of dollars in losses to protect the Aussie farmers.
What a crock.
Large supermarket chains bend their suppliers over at every opportunity. Bastards the lot of them !

While I'd support the removal of bulk hormones added in feedlots, if that happens, the pill they put in a calf's ear as a one off is not a big deal I believe.
And who is going to raise the extra cattle required given that Woolies and Coles have driven so many farmers out of the industry through price fixing?
