    Woronora our local dam (south of Sydney) is currently at 35% despite a bucket load of rain.
    There has been speculation that mining operations under the catchment have resulted in lots of water heading underground. Watching the recent levels v rainfall I'm tending to believe the theory.

    That picture looks dreadfull. As does the picture of the water hole dry in the report. I see the report is a couple of years old, does Peabody intend to go ahead in further mining under the catchment and dam?

    I wonder if there is any remedial actions to correct the draining? Like peper in a radiator etc. (I know it's a poor simily but it's the only one I could think of promptly)
