    Thanks for the pics, very interesting, particulary the Series 3 (E Timor?) with the reds& blues on the canopy bar and what looks like dual tone horns on the front bar, ex aust army Ser 3 maybe used as police vehicle

    Yes, I noticed the Deluxe bonnet and the insect screen over the grille, and yes, they could be spot/driving lights, L/mirror also looks like the defender type.



    25mm Friday 20mm Sat,25mm Sun,35mm so far this afternoon, dogs sleeping in dog trailer,warn and dry,but I think they are growing web feet the water is just below grass height

    Yes had a good one off to see Lionel tomorrow!!!!!

    3rd pic in SF Land Rover, what series were these, and were they standard or up graded???

    Also the newer 110 SF land rovers, were they all 2 door truck, or were any HCPU like the early UK ones???

    afaik all were based on 4x4 and 6x6 perenties, the 4x4's were a modified standard body, 6x6's were a purpose built rear body

    The Mi26

    The Mi26 being loaded with the bushmaster was a contract identified and instigated by me in Apr 06...wish I had 1% of the profit it has turned!

    It has turned out to be quite an operational asset as it is the only recovery means in theatre for lifting CH47s...to date it has recovered 8.

    Also the Australian SAS is abbreviated as SASR. "R" being regiment.
