Some people are stupid, the ones who plough through in little four bangers at speed I mean.

There is a dip under a rail bridge in bathurst that leads to one of the outer suburbs. When you get a heavy down pour it fills up with water because the drainage cant move the water quick enough, it only lasts about 30mins after the rain stops and it empties out. We had to rescue a woman in a toyota celica who tried to wade through 40cm deep water and was suprised when the car stopped. Stupid thing is about 1km up the road there is a bridge over the train line as opposed to a dip under it, but it amazes me how many people cant afford the time to drive around yet they can afford the time to sit stranded in 40cm of water

I'll stand up for Inc as we of the earlier style of motoring would be more interested in making sure that they have the right gear in the vehicle and camera's would be a long way down the list(as we are used to film type without flash) but radiator blinds and wading plugs would take precedence, as would food, toilet paper, and dog food

BTW.in my and Inc's locality we have had since Wednesday,25mm,Thurs 20mm,Fri 20mm,Sat 10mm,Sun 25mm,Mon 50mm (all readings taken at 9am) so his body & grey matter would be like mine a tad 2nd hand

    cheers
