    Shade Shed

    Hi all,
Anyone have a 'shade shed' as opposed to a carport or conventional shed?
How do they compare cost wise?
I am considering purchasing one as an area to store spare vehicles and trailers etc.

    Cheers

    Ralph

Quick and easy one. Short lengths of star picket driven into the ground. Poly pipe lengths slipped over a picket and bent over in an upside down u shape and slipped over the opposite picket. Cheap plastic tarp thrown over and tied down to the pipe/pickets. Excellent temporary shed or camp.

Some pics of one I built a few years ago. Good concept, but fairly difficult to get square because of the swaged joints. To give you an idea of size, my truck is (was) a twincab T4100 with a 4.5 tray. They come in a huge range of sizes and sorry, no clues of purchase cost as I only build them.

    Hi Again,
    Silly me,
Got the link, forgot to upload it.

Transportable Shade Sheds - Resellers located Australia wide Head Office is in Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia

    Cheers.
They just might be what I am after, particularly, as I will be erecting whatever structure under trees in my yard, I like the idea of no gutters and the roof sheet going down the side a little.

PS, thanks Sprint, beat me to it.

    Cheers

    G'day Folks

Don't forget to check your friendly Council, as most require plans and a building permit even the small ones in MBRC area

Some of the smaller one I have built have been classified as "tempory structures" and different rules applied. Definately worth the ask officially though.
