Willy's Jeep
This is quite impressive! About 6 soldiers pull up on a main street in Halifax , Nova Scotia on some holiday. They're in a standard issue WWII type Willys Jeep. In the span of about 4 to 5 minutes they completely disassemble the vehicle and reassemble it and drive off in it fully operable! The idea being to show the genius that went into the making of the jeep and its basic simplicity. Fantastic.

how long you reckon before it overheats after radiator gets taken out and put back with no water refill
nothing special, IIRC its one modified for displays like that....
plus, i'd love to see them drive it 50km immediately after that lil display!
Hi Vlad I saw a group of girls do that with an earley model commodore in Northland shoping centre about 30 years ago. I don't what the storey was but they were big news for a while.
Not a standard issue ww2, jeep but a M38 post war Jeep from about 1950
About 5 years too late...
Take it for what it is...teamwork/communication above anything else. They'd have drilled that over and over again.
Good stuff.
I'd love to know how they start it as it appeared that there was no wiring involved. Then how do they stop it as there was no brake connection or bleeding.
Dave.
I get the general idea of it and think its great.
Not very realistic but great none the less.
I had a Jeep Cheroke and must say, very basic.
rear drums, plastic everything and push pull switches, warping exhaust and ancient donk 4L straight six.
Bit like our landies were really but not as good off road but pleanty of poke from the motor though.
Good on em, that's cool.
