Guys,
I was wondering if someone could loan me an R&R beadbreaker or if we could come to some arrangement to use one. I'm on the Brisbane southside (Carindale). I need to remove some old tyres from their rims and fit 4 newer tyres at a mate's property at Maleny. So the beadbreaker will be away for a day or two at some time.
IF you can wait till mid-late jan you can use mine.... and you can have your choise of RR,Tyre Plier and slide hammer

If you've benefited from one or more of my posts please remember, your taxes paid for my skill sets, I'm just trying to make sure you get your monies worth.
If you think you're in front on the deal, pay it forwards.
Ditto Mr Hodgo re location ( I'm SE of Beenleigh) - I'm not doing anything with my R & R ( Set for 16 inch rims), nor my two tyre levers.
Thanks for the offers. I need to tee up a time to get up to the property etc with my mate, so it will be one weekend hopefully in early January. The tyres are 15", so I will need to adjust the tool for this size. The beadbreakers seem to have a lot of recommmendations as the easiest to use, but the tyre pliers don't seem to be very difficult either.
BTW, when would you guys take the tool on a trip - just to remote areas or as a general rule eg to Fraser Island or on desert trips?
Guys, the beadbreaker isn't required any more. I'm impressed with the offers for help.
My mate couldn't wait til I got there, so he has taken the tyres into the nearest town and had the tyres changed over. We were concerned that as the "new" tyres had some age on them (only 6 years or so, but this is getting to the age limit for tyres), the shop may refuse to fit them. As the car is only for tracks around his property, and will never see even a road, they did.
