When I was pregnant we found that my child potentially had a 50% chance of a very agressive form of cystic fibrosis and potentially would only live for a few weeks once born. Those weeks would be at the mercy of medical equipment to help them breathe, drugs, doctors, round the clock care etc. I was 14 weeks pregnant (too late to choose my child's fate) and wouldn't receive the results of invasive testing until after 20 weeks. In this case IF I wanted to terminate I would have to ask a panel of professionals if I could have my body back and abort the child. I would have to prove that it would be inhumane to have the child carried to term. I had no choice in the matter, it was them who decided for me if I was to have the baby or not (this of course assuming I did everything legally). Thankfully I was ruled out a carrier of CF and we never had to go down that road and face those decisions. But. I have huge doubt that any doctor can just do away with a child because it is requested. There would have to be a strong medical case behind it.
