Thread: Defenders are horrible

Well they give the defender a good wright up in the latest mags
I was sat at a BBQ the other day at a table full of Toyota drivers . All going on about the new Toyota 4 door troopie thing. Don't know what its called, and don't really care . When they kept saying to each other how great it was and how you knew you were in a 4x4 and how it was basic and just made for off roading. Then I said none of you lot have odiously been in a defender. I got blanked for the whole night , even more so when I told them I had two.

But the best sticker I have ever seen on the back of a defender was

" At least the country that makes my 4x4 don't eat Whales "

"The Frankston Standard Leader" doesn't exactly scream credible newspaper (like any of them are)

I have never even heard of it...

If I ever find myself in Frankston , do I say to them, 'take me to your standard leader.'

I'm surprised they were not all haling the FJ Cruiser, the new toadota.
