    Parking Brisbane CBD

Just took delivery of a new Defender 110.

Does anyone know of easily accessible parking in Brisbane CBD that will fit the Defender's height?

    Thanks

As a rule I ONLY use street parking in the CBD, but if you must park for longer than 2hrs then I think McArthur Central is the only place that fits a Defender. Don't try Queens Plaza because even though their height gauge says 2.2m, the Defender hits the bar when ramping over on the entry to the car park.

I occasionally park over the river under the State Library and walk across Kurilpa bridge. Part of the library car park is 2.3 - 2.4m. Also it is only $15 all day flat rate.

I have parked at the Jazz Club, Kangaroo Point, and caught the ferry across.

Actually, I just went to Secure Parking - Home and they list the heights of all their car parks. There's a few I didn't know about...

    Martin College - 119 Charlotte Street 2.3m
    AM60 - 60 Albert Street 2.3m
    140 Elizabeth Street 2.3m
    121 Wharf Street 2.7m
Boeing House - 363 Adelaide Street 2.2m outside

They list MacArthur central as 2.1m but I am sure the height gauge along Elizabeth St reads higher.

    solmanac,

121 Wharf St seems to be the go (2.7m!) - especially after I fit a roof rack. Thanks for your info.

Sadly, this one is monthly parking only.

I have to be honest, I haven't parked under MacArthur Central, I just noticed the height gauge when driving by on Elizabeth St. Maybe it was the service vehicle entry only.

When you say Queen St Mall car park, which one do you mean?

The macaurthur central has a big entry for service trucks but the car park is small
