Good time to remind people where the passion Queenslanders have to not only beat NSW, but flog them comes from. Before state of origin, the teams were made of of resident Qlders, and NSWelshmen. The NSW side always had the cream of the Qld players who had gone south to play for reasonable money. There was no money in the game up here. A few mates and I went to an interstate game in the late 60's, 67 or 68, at the SCG, there were about 150 people there, Qld were flogged, someone from the hill yelled out when the ref blew the whistle at full time " fair go ref, Qld haven't started to play yet!". That was reported in the paper, and stuck in my craw for years, until state of origin, actually. Guess what? Qld has started to play, catch us if you can.To those from the southern States I can only say ,with respect, you will never understand. Bob

.........and
Actually, a South Aussie mate of mine told me how much they love Victorians, so you might have some idea!

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food
A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking
