Scouse is referring to the Rover P6 wagon, we only had the P6 sedans here on general sale, I am aware of the P76 wagons, several were crushed like the Force 7's there was also a prototype Austin 1800 wagon but not any Kimbley or Tasmans, structural strength with the 1800's was a problem that showed up in road testing.
1974 B1 VW Passat 5 door wagon. Had one in the late 80`s . Went very well for a small wagon. Produced from 1973 to 1981. Longitudinally mounted slant motor, but front wheel drive.

Have we mentioned the 1970s & 1980s Subaru wagons - now they were a nightmare. I had a brand new 1982 2 range 1800cc model, drove it up the west coast to Darwin and back to Sydney, less than 18K km on the clock, main engine oil seal blew. Traded it with less than 12 months ownership on my first Range Rover, I still have the second RR which I bought about 2 years later.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.
Gidday UncleHo,
Its my daily driver. It handles very well (for a 50 year old car).
It has Hr holden running gear in it (disc brake front end, redmotor, 4 speed), so it stops and goes ok.
No probs sofar with the tyre sizes down here, but I have been keeping and eye out for some 13's for the back to match..
Isuzurover,
What's the reason for this list?
P.S. I liked the old sigma too. Friend of mine had an early wagon (Chrysler) We took it up some pretty rough roads around Licola - couldn't kill the old "Bush Turkey". It died peacefully, in its sleep, of rust 20 years later.
P.P.S. I liked my old Subie too (although it was an early 80's), drove it up the telegraph track to Cape York, other than the bullbar falling off and a blown shocker - no dramas!
I believe it was only the series V which came as a wagon, but could be wrong.
I grew up with a black Series V sedan, it was previously the Minister for Mines car befrore Dad replaced his Zephyr with it. Learnt to drive in it and used it as my wedding car!
Lovely car ahead of its time with front discs, twin strombergs and a crossflow head. beutiful timber dash and trims with snack/drink trays for the rear passengers. For a 3 litre it went well and never had any difficulty reaching 100mph. But then I remember fuel at 10.2 cents a litre and the choice was either standard or super.
I am, lead to believe that it was this head that Chrysler based their Hemi head on after aquiring the Rootes Group.
cheers
I remember my dad having a Simca when I was a kid - it was his last sedan. Then a range of wagons - not all of these listed, but these are some I remember from the time that others haven't already listed -
Austin Freeway (had one of these in the NT)
Morris Oxford
Toyota Crown (had one of these after the Freeway)
Toyota Corona
Nissan Cedric (meaner looking front end than the Fiat 500)
Datsun Personal Six
Datsun Super Six
Datsun 1600 / 180B / 200B
Valiants - there was a wagon variant of just about every model built.
Vauxhall Viva (there were a few HB Viva wagons around - the sedan in this model became the first Torana)
Mitsubishi / Chrysler Galant
Rambler Classic (not sure on the engine size though)
Citroen Godess (pregnant frog)
I'll think of more when I'm not trying to ..................
Cheers .........
