    Thanks for all the well-wishes.

I picked the wrong day to visit RPA, usually my hospital of choice.

12 hours in the waiting room being shunted in and out for consultations.

    And the diagnosis, please -

Heart attack (ECG after two hours in waiting room. Had to question whether they really thought I'd had a heart attack)
    GORD
    Gallstones
    Aortic Aneurysm
    Liverstones
    Some other Liver problem.

Not our problem, can you go home and spend the next couple of months working through the specialist visits and tests that'd be sorted in two days in hospital.

Oh, and a pack of Panadeine Forte in case the 18 hours of quality pain comes back.

So, back to the couch for another couple of months. Stroppy months, too, unfortunately. Hmm, maybe it's dyspepsia, or maybe I'm just feeling liverish.

We are glad that you are back home with the family.
Now take care and do not do a short cuts, follow the specialist advice.
    Cheers

Good Luck with it Simon. Yes I hate waiting too. Patience though, they will work out the problem.

How very frustrating for you Simon!

You do know what RPA stands for? Righteous Pompous and Arrogant.

When I was staff in KGV (RPA Maternity) one of my colleagues in KGV was bashed in Newtown, he spent 14 hours in ED and when seen was told by the resident that he should have come in earlier for sutures, but after 14 hours it was too late!

These days RPA is the last place I would go! Although most ED can be busy, I prefer St George over RPA.

Simon glad you're home, very annoying isn't it. Sorry to hear oof your unexplained pain issues, really hope you can just rest up and get some answers. I was in the RHH today at the Cardiology clinic and just waiting around and seeing all the sick and dying, coughing bandaged people in the outpatients waiting room was enough to actually GIVE me a coronary.

Hope you get better soon, we're thinking of you
