    Would be happy to help but your Redcliffe is in Bananaland, my Redcliffe is in Wait Awhile....

    Maybe this will bump it so more in the area might see Nd be able to offer a hand.

    Maybe check things like battery voltage, terminal cleanliness, move gear selector thru it's full movement a couple of times with the ignition off.

    I had this happen once and a quick rapid full quadrant run cleared it never to be seen again.

    Good luck.

    Andrew

    Thanks Wanglemoose!

    Thanks to Stevo for offering to come up from the coast.
    Thanks to Wanglemoose for reading the codes and helping me work out that I had checked pretty much everything except the tightness of the solinoid energizer wire on the starter
    Sometimes it just helps to verbalise the issue with someone else.

    Thanks Mate, i owe you one.

    Oh, well. At least now I've done a few things i've been meaning to do;
    Drilled out the rivets holding the gearbox inspection plate and put in screws making it removeable easily,
    drilled out the rivets on the XYZ switch, inspected, cleaned and resealed with bolts, making it serviceable.
    FINALLY added a CDL actuator lever (a kids training wheel bracket, lightly clearenced is a perfect fit!)
    Dave.
