    Which sleeping bag??

Omg! I'm standing in Anaconda looking at their enormous range of sleeping bags at 40% off.

I'm looking for something to replace my 20 year old down filled Snowman bag. Not sure of it's temp rating.

I want something WARM! Good for cold nights at Flannagan's or clear sky winter nights in the Pilbara.

Black Wolf? Denali? Deuter? anyone got any thoughts/recommendations?

    Cheers

    Wil

One Planet. Australian made, top quality, and competitively priced. Doubt they stock them there though.

Lol. Agreed. Not so practical for my application though.

Had a look for the One Planet bags at Mountain Designs but they no longer sell them.

Have settled on a Denali Cocoon 600 down bag. Seems okay. Pretty small too.

    Best Sleeping Bag for Bushwalking

I have a 3 season One Planet bag which I have slept 1000+ nights in, which is still as good as the day I bought it. Good weight to warmth trade off. Kept me warm in a unexpected blizzard in the Snowys, and a summer snow fall on the Overland Track.

I also have a summer (liner) Fairydown bag which I have slept only 24+ nights in. Very lightweight. Great for bushwalking in summer along coastal river country. Fairydown used to be made in New Zealand.

My wife has a 4 season Fairdown bag. Probably the best bag ever made. In the snow she is so warm you could cook on the top of her bag.

I don't know anything about the Anaconda Brands sorry.

    Beckford.

There was a clearance ad on Tv for Kathmandu. They were selling some sleeping bag for $199 SAVE $300, must be one hell of a sleeping bag if it was $500 before

    Ditto.

Have an old One Planet Rockledge (extra long and made in Christchurch before they stopped bag production a decade ago) that hasn't had as much use as it should.
They make bags again and really know what they are doing.
It'll last me quite a few more years.

I got 2 North Face Mummy style and are rated up to -7 degree C.

Light weight, compress very easily and do not retain smell from fires or body etc.

Had good reviews and zip was very easy to use.
Super warm also and light weight.
