Thread: Looking for a lost Carawagon!

Hi all,

I've just popped in from 12k miles away to ask if anyone knows anything about this Carawagon.



We were showing our 1972 SIII Carawagon at a recent show when I was approached by the guy who used to own the one in the pic.
He'd sold it in 1994, but lost touch with it some years later.
Another Carawagon owner remembers seeing it at a show here in the UK in 2003.
The owner at that time, Colin, was about to emigrate to Australia and couldn't decide whether to sell or try to export the vehicle to Australia.

According to our Licensing authorities in the UK, there was an export marker put on it in 2003, and there's no record since then, so we're hoping it did make its way over there and wasn't scrapped!!

Anyone seen it in their travels?

Sorry, just re-read that thread instead of just clicking on the link to landrover.net site.

Looks like it might be a lead as the one we're looking for is a 6 pot.
