log in and timed out

After speaking to Dave (Incisor) just now he recommended that I hit the 'LOG OUT' button located at the top Right hand side of this page and then log back in again to see if that improved things.

Having tried this so far it is working ok. So it might be an idea for those of us that are having issues to give it a go and see if it works for you as well.

System all running OK for me now.:)

mine's been off and on all day - It only seems to mess up after I post though. I tried to post a screen shot here earlier of the error but the post clearly didn't go through!

One thing I've noticed is the no. of messages listed on the "New Posts" linked page is only 15. I thought there was more originally, is there an option to alter the no. we see?

Nearly 24 hours later logging out and re logging in is still working for me and I have only had the issue once in that time.

Has anyone else had similar results?

I spoke too soon - it started playing up again after I posted the above.

I have tried logging off and then back on and it lets you in but the next search say of new posts brings up the problem again.

Today has been all OK - not having to log in or out - just using the site as normal.

I appreciate Incisor's efforts to deal with the problem - it is easy to have a whinge but while not totally fixed I find the system running better than it was when I first had a sook on another thread.

No.
Tried it and the very next attempted login(60 secs)
was unsuccessfull.
:(

For what it is worth the time it did bugger up again I then deleted Aulro from my favourites and then saved the home page and log in afresh everytime now rather then using the auto log in.

I hope that makes sense how I have explained it ... anyway it seams to be working for me so far.

Was asked to log-in again last night .... time after time ... so, I logged out, shutdown & reboot, run IE, got to AULRO, log in, get to /afvb, click on General Chat ... please log-in .... after 10+ attempts I gave up :(

I don't know .... pulling your hair out Inc' ? :p

... later last night, all back to normal ... :angel:
