Hi,
Can I put it towards a concrete slab and some steel for a carport to keep it out of the mud and the weather??
No??
Alright, I'll have a compressor and some tyre repair stuff then.
cheers

Does it cover a tyre or two?
Right now? Getting her ready for RWC. Ideally? Well, a couple of spare wheels & tyres. Or an overdrive. Or soundproofing (2.25 diesel - my wife insists I warn her before I turn the engine on). Or new wiring as at least some of the insulation is brittle. The list goes on! ;)
I'd get him washed and groomed, and maybe a big bone. Than with the rest of the money maybe hire someone to walk him.
Oh you mean the Land Rover,:o sorry I thought you ment the Dog.
Well Super Crap have a 9000lb winch for just under $400.
Not that one, Mrs. HH. Although if that owner was willing to sell I would probably jump at it. It's one of those LR's with distinctive personality.
I bought a 2.25 Diesel engined S3 LWB troopie from Boondal. $1250.00, so possibly a bit exy by your standards. However it's in good nick, apart from the brakes, an oil leak, a suspected diesel leak & blue smoke on start up. A previous owner tells me the one thing that was never done to it was getting the timing right. So that's a nob to be done post de-greasing the engine bay.
I'll put up a thread with a pic or 2.
Edit: here's the thread: http://www.aulro.com/afvb/series-3/1...ml#post1522535
$400 would cover most of the Nanocom Evolution 2 that's on its way...hopefully. By all accounts it's a useful addition to the Disco toolbox.
I'd probably get the cam belt done on the defender, although the money would be handy to cover fuel considering its $2.00 per litre for standard unleaded at the moment and I'm driving the rangie:o
