ergh...... scrapiron racing rebadged... personally I wouldnt use them.
Hi all,
Has anyone bought from these guys before?? Extreme 4X4
After hearing back from them to say that they'll ship to Australia, I haven't been able to get in touch with them to place an order, or confirm other details.

Yes, I got a set of D2 polybush bump stops from them two weeks ago. Excellent service, got exactly what was advertised, 4 - 5 day courier service to Australia and a good set of people to deal with. It's a shame that people fob them off without having used them. They have even featured my truck on their page.

Thanks, but I'm not seeing much service, and I haven't even ordered anything yet.
I emailed them initially 4 weeks ago, got an answer not long after confirming they'll ship to Aus. I then sent an email checking prices on some stuff, prepared to order if the price was ok (no reply), and I sent another email 2 weeks ago (again, no reply). I've just sent another one this evening.
If their lack of response is anything to go by, I think I'll try elsewhere.
This was my reasoning for asking for other people's experiences. I'm glad you've had a good one.
I find it helps to ring first and have a chat. That way when you send the email it's already personal. Worth a shot and a 2 - 3min international call for an order is nothing in the scheme of things. It also shows the vender your intention as you can imagine how many international emails they get just shopping a price.
Good luck mate.

Hi brenno if they are a Uk company the may well be closed in August for thier summer holidays.
Dave
I have also sent emails to a couple of companies in the UK and not received a response. When I have phoned, they haven't received the email, and it has gone to their trash file.So now I always give a call, and if needed let them know that I will be sending an email.

If only that was the case
Your probably thinking of the Southern European countries, they love to close in the summer months.
Back to the topic, they were Scorpion Racing (As Psimpson7 said) who went bust late 2008. Wouldn't touch them myself, high prices for ideas copied (To a low standard) from other manufacturers with a sky high price.
Be grateful they have got back in contact.
I've been dealing with First Four about bars etc for my TDCi and they have been very good, good prices and quick to reply to emails. Pat
