Fight fire with fire if need be

Through the off cuts over the fence they grew them they own them, As for the dogs, Look up your local council web sight on the net and it should tell you how many dogs they are allowed on in a domestic yard and report them if they are not complying with the rules. fight fire with fire

I take it the tree are on your side, if so, it is considered that you own the trees. Thus, your neighbour has the right to prun the overhang, but as they are your tree they must return the branches by law as they belong to you.

As for the wash from the pool, this falls into the EPA not so much council, although council do administer it in most cases. It is a no no to have what happened to you happen.

Call the council and have their dogs registred as dangerous that is always fun.

Or, take over a heap of beer and meat and talk it out, once you start this stuff it goes on forever, better to fix it.

I just had a new neighbour move in 2 weeks ago. They told me I had to fix water running into their shed from my side.

I offered to help mow a section of the yard for them as they did not get the ride on mower and it had not been mowed for eight weeks. Once I made nice I them explained that their shed was 15 metres too close to the creek and 2 metres too close to the boundary and was not approved, I suggested they dig a drain.

We are now great mates and they are digging a drain.

Local Council Rules have now changed with regards to Pruning Tree branches AFAIK ,it is now the responsibility of Party who Prunes the tree branches to collect and dispose of the branch cuttings even if the branches are over hanging their fence from Next door. I've contacted our local council. unless it's agreed to between both parties ,As mentioned earlier we fall under the Hornsby Council. As for the Barking Dogs , I have spoken to the young fella who owns the Dog next door , not the actual Owner of the Property . He has assured me that he will try and keep his Dogs at Bay . I really would like to keep the neighbourly relationship on a good level and with integrity but this can be hard at times. but this is the best way. I cannot see myself firing a Sling shot at the dog although sometimes I really feel like making a high power sling shot and sedating the dog for a while . I have 2 x of my own dogs and knowing that someone would be firing sling a sling shot at them is rather Disturbing.

Actually any part of a tree over 3 metres tall belongs to the council. That is why they can apply tree preservation orders and require application for pruning etc.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

No longer applies. As of this year, in Queensland the owner of the offending plants has the responsibility of pruning and controlling them and of disposal of the refuse. You should ask them nicely to prune THEIR trees that are hanging over the fence or property line. If they don't respond, go to your alderman's office and they will guide you through the process of completing an order to serve on the neighbour. This may make bad friends but often is the only way to get said neighbour off their bum.

Yeah I did the same thing here in Hornsby with my Mulberry tree. There were 2 small branches hanging over my neighbours fence. They picked the mulberries and then clipped the branch and put it on my side of the yard.
