Had a bit of it when I was a kid. My sister buys it for her kids.

Better than meccano, which is just unbelievably awful - turns quality time between three generations into hell.

    Not as flexible as Lego.

    Apparently you can make robots.

    And an automated VW factory.

    It's a bit German.

well I have a ton of it that I want to sell, but know one really knows what it is or the quality. I have lots of motors gears and elec stuff...not the new computer stuff though. Mine is all 70s-80's and in perfect order.

Oh yeah - That was my favorite stuff when I was a kid - played with that more than Meccano & Technical Lego. I think I still have a bit of it lying around somewhere, but I think my son lost a lot of it over the years...

I built all sorts of stuff from cranes, to cable cars, door closers, cars, robots... The list goes on. Sounds like I had simialr stuff to you - motors and stuff, but not the fancy electronics that came out later on.

I would imagine there would be a collector out there that would buy the lot off you, but I wouldn't know how much it would be worth...

Brings back some fond memories. - Thanks.

yeah I built bridges and cranes, but the electronic stuff I have has light sensor parts etc so can be a bit more involved.... problem is I have over 3 full FT boxes that are 1 foot wide 1.5 foot long and 4 inches deep... shipping would be a problem. I just want it to go to a good home that will use it.

My young bloke is just a bit too old for that now I think - he is 13, but into the usual video games and crap now. I'm sure someone will be able to find it a home.

Ohh - I just remembered the lyrics & the jingle from the ad - "Fischer Technik - what a lot of fun - you're never too old and you're never too young"

Maybe I'm not too old to be still playing with it...

I'd be happy to trade it all for an early Range Rover front axle assembly hub to hub.
