    What ever happened to Ace (Matt)?

    I might have missed something but there used to be a member 'Ace' (Matt) who was on here very very often and recently I've not seen him at all.
    Did he head off on a trip? or has something happned? Is he ok? His family?He's a vendor so I don't think it would be a case of selling his Land Rover and leaving the forum.

    I'm sure I won't be the only one who remembers him, right?

    You are right. Have not heard from Ace in a long while. Used to have some good conversations and one of the earlier members of this forum.
    Last post I can find was 14 Oct 2010.
    Ace (Matt) where are you bud?

    CraigE, you're forecasting his reply; last post 2010 perhaps? But very good observation LSD and Craig, where is he? I suppose there are lots of people who fall by the wayside or worse still fall to the darkside (or the Japside) and we never notice they're gone.

    I dont think Ace has been gone that long... maybe a month or two at most?

    Last I recall he had to replace a cracked sump (deefer/disco??) and I cant recall if it was his or he was helping somone else.... I havent checked though as it appears you guys have.

    Maybe PM him? remember he is a shiftworker now and with other things this may make a case of "something has to give" so maybe forum is "resting" at the moment?

    last post on the forum was 1 july so last month maybe just busy or 1st holiday in the new job in his old job he was always on holidays

    I still see him driving around Bathurst in his disco sometimes.Last time i think it was about 3 weeks ago.

    Matt's fine, he's on facebook regularly. He seems to be pretty busy with 2 jobs: his old one p/t teaching and his f/t govt job (I've always wanted to use that smiley). Still in Bathurst too

    As long as he's alright I did flick him an email to check on him - it's out of character for him to disappear when he used to be one of the forum's top posters! (and given the f/t job I was hoping he hadn't had a run in anywhere!)
