In reading your posts about the tragedy you are living through I can't help but seeing a pretty typical pattern of behaviour in Simons actions.
You have obviously just moved house, a pretty stressful time, how was his mood then was he flat? Was he down when the decision was made to move?
After the move, I take it from other peoples posts that Simon was pretty upbeat, that sounds pretty typical in my experience of the Depression cycle, a Dip, a Flat then a High.
Look, I don't know how to say this delicately so here go's.
The high is the euphoria we get when a decision has been made that we feel good about, one that we see will break the cycle.
I know, I've been there before, I'll go there again.
I've got a really nice secluded spot in the bush where nobody will find me, The plan is to go missing in action one day...
I'm not attention seeking in any way, I just want people with no experience of The Black Dog to recognise the signs in people they love who suffer, I know, my wife suffers when I get it and that's really hard for me to see.
To others reading this who get bitten by the dog, take Sarah's plea to heart. Please talk to someone.
You can PM me if you feel the need.
