Aww Crap. I've never met Simon but I have dealt with your business and it still hit me like a ton of bricks reading that. I get chased by the black dog every few months and I know just how close I get to closing my account with The Maker, and it's only my Mrs and Kids that keep me going. I don't know what I can do to help you from way over here, but I wish I could do something. You only have to ask.

If you called me on Friday and said you need to pull out because you didn't feel like it, that I'll consider a 'Let Down". What has happened today is a tragedy and none of us will ever think you let us down.

Regarding the money for the food and the vouchers, at this point I'll insist we that we take a rain check. I know you want to contribute and that you feel you have made a commitment but under the circumstances I want you to please reconsider. Not Neil, Kieren or I will feel right to accept any form of donation from you in light of what just happened.

I know your whole world has been turned upside down but you first need to think of yourself and Lukas at this point before anybody else. Nobody will hold that against you, certainly not the three of us (Neil, Kieren & I).

Oh Sarah, I'm so sorry to hear what's happened. Even though I have never met Simon or yourself, I'm touched and truely feel for you and your son. Rest assured, you are in our thoughts.

Thank you. To be honest it hasn't hit yet. I'm just cuddling Lucas and he's being as silly as always and it's like I'm just waiting for Simon to get home. I'm sure once the shock wears off I'll be a bit of a puddle. It's a horrible feeling, very surreal. I mean...I'm posting on AULRO just hours after finding him. Who does that? I suppose we all cling to certain things once something unexpected occurs.
