    PLEASE read this

I don't know really how to begin. But for those of you who might have met me or seen me around on here I am one person who works for LSD Automotive.

The other person and the most important is Simon. Today I found Simon at the house we have just left. He has taken his own life.

As you can imagine I'm in shock. I'm heart broken and hurt and hoping that any moment I will wake up from what has become an awful nightmare. The man who I felt was going to be by my side for the rest of my life has been taken from me and my child and I are left behind.

For those of you who never met him, or never had a chance to get to know him. He was an amazing man but troubled and has battled those demons for many years. His sense of humour and laugh and eyebrows that danced as he told a story lit up my life and those of the people closest to him. He was determined and dedicated and worked hard. He had dreams of building LSD into an empire and probably drove people on here nuts with PMs and posts with prices. I promise you he never meant to be perceived as 'hard sell' - he was genuinely inspired by his products and had such an intense faith that he was going to make a difference to customers across this country. He and I have spent countless nights up until all hours of the morning working for customers, getting quotes, demanding cuts from suppliers. He was in his element. He worked fulltime as well as helping to run LSD. And of course he LOVED his land rovers. He could talk your ear off for hours. Just yesterday we were out at another forum member's house, and had another here on Friday. I knew NOTHING about cars at all when I met him, not a thing. One of our first dates was out to Mundaring Power Lines and just a few weeks later to the dunes at Lancelin. I didn't even know what a Land Rover was or that it was any different to a Cruiser And here I am helping price sump gaskets and poly bushes and discussing Tdi vs TD5. All of that is due to him.

I'm sorry because I am rambling.

I just need to ask a favour of all those waiting on orders. Please afford me a little time to get them out to you. For those waiting for the boat it may take me a little time to get the order out as I have no driver to help out. But I promise you will get your parts.
The blade orders will still be taken until I have sold through and I will list everything else we have in stock when I have my head on straight.

Something I am asking of everyone here and it probably isn't my place but I'm taking the liberty.

If you feel like life is getting on top of you. If you feel angry or upset or lost or unloved. Please speak to someone. Speak to them now. Don't let yourself believe it. Everyone here is loved and valued. No one should do this. No one should ever think the world would be better without them. Because it won't be. It will just leave a void - it will just leave people with a feeling of emptiness that might never wane.
Pull those you love close to you and apologise for any harsh words you might have ever said to them. Because if you didn't mean it you can still take it back. I can't. And I will no doubt wish for an eternity that this could be undone. And I'll wish forever that my son could have known the brilliant man who fathered him.

Never let anyone leave angry - always give them a hug and tell them that you love them. They deserve to hear it

I am shocked Sarah. I spoke to Simon on the phone not two weeks ago. My very deepest sympathy to you especially, and to Simon's family.

    Sarah,

At this point there is nothing anyone can say to take your pain away. All I can say is that I am very saddened by the news of Simon’s death and my heart goes out to you and Lukas. I've only met Simon on two occasions and I could see he was very passionate about LSD Automotive and the Green Oval.

Needless to say that we do not expect you to continue with the arrangements for the BBQ for next weekend. Unfortunately you have much more urgent matters to attend to now and it would be very inconsiderate of us to expect you to continue with what you proposed.

My family and I will keep you in our prayers.

    Regards, Jurgens.

That's a devastatingly sad story mixed with some very wise words.

My sympathies and condolences to all.

I'm so sorry Jurgens, I really don't want to let you and all your participants down. We have the money aside - if someone can pick it up and get the food together I still want you to have it. He was so excited about next weekend. He couldn't wait to meet everyone

Very sad, as mental health workers my wife and I see far to many of these very sad situations. The government still need to take a long hard look at funding in this area of health care. So sorry for your loss.
