looks like one of those fugly ruckus piece of craps.
LR please listen, keep the body style and just upgrade the interior and make the TDV6 the base powerplant with an auto option - dont try to re-invent the wheel.

Well, it's time has come. To get a new vehicle to jump through all the Euro hoops and ours and to deliver what we ask for is one tough job. Not to mention the financial constraints and directives that may be given at pre-design breifings.
If it can have things like long range fuel etc we can work with it. What about a family varient or workhorse?
Land Rover has various cars, but where is the link to the original farm machine?
Regards,
PeterW
One would hope that they develope a 4 door version.

It looks OK from the side, but to me it looks like they're still trying to go down the "Lifestyle vehicle" path. We already have Freelanders, Evoques, etc. for that.
What they need to do is focus on making a refined, extremely capable, very practical/utilitarian vehicle, similar to the G-wagen or the Amorak, and then dress it up a little for "lifestyle" versions. But that wouldn't fit their "luxury car maker" mould...
Sure, the Defender design is ageing, so redesign it from the ground up to eliminate the flaws. This concept looks more like they're removing the "Defenderness" from the design, and as mentioned above looks more like a Ruckus than a Landrover.
It's sad to see that Landrover got so up itself over the success of practically creating the Luxury 4x4 market with the original Range Rover that the practical vehicles have been an afterthought ever since. That's my naive young view of things anyway...

The lower front bumper looks that it is designed by the Great Wall team, and the rims are only good for the trip from Palm Beach to Manly.
