There's a nifty bit of Software called My Phone Explorer FJ Software Development
It connects your phone to your computer via bluetooth and lets you get all the files off SIM or Phone Memory.

Ok, what you are looking for is a cable that has Nokia written on it, and it will also probably say DKU-5. It may say CA-42, and this is the same cable.

In the meantime, I will check my boxes of stuff at work, and see if I have one here.

Not familiar with that model, but alot of newer nokia's have a mini USB port, like a camera, You may be able to plug it in and browse to it as a mass storage device otherwise that plus nokia PC suite and you should be able to get it off.

Yes, it does have the mini port. We have SO MANY cables...boxes of them. Ha, Simon kept all of them together...it will be around somewhere!

Nokia software will be the way to go. MyPhoneExplorer Relies on the phone having the software as well I thought, at least on android it does.

Just wanted to say I have a cable and can extract the files Thank you for all your help....my mobile's screen cracked today. I've had this phone for ages...last night I was having dreams about getting the files off and today it breaks? Odd! Luckily the phone is still operational, I just can't see anything.
