    ROVERTRACKS is no longer

This probably is not the right place to post this but I figure it's the best place to get seen and folks shouldn't be missing out if they need something.

Well it's no longer a commercial Website, it is a blog.
Seems that land rover thought I was taking business away and sent their lawyers last year.. I kept at it as long as I could.
I will still be selling the same products at:
    Rovingtracks.com
    Same stuff same service.
If you would tell your friends!

    Thanks all!

KEITH! that is terrible news. I am shocked that LR would go after small fry (meant in the best possible way!) like yourself.

Good to hear you are sticking at it!

I will be contacting you to purchase some parts very soon!

    Hi Keith
That's pretty poor form from LR.... But you had me worried with the title of your thread I thought you might have been closing up shop, very glad that is not the case!!

I will be ordering some 35 spline axles and stubs from you soon, also do your front axles and cv's suit the 07-current puma's?

Thanks for posting that up Keith, I went googling for you only 2 days ago, after reading a recommendation (here!), only to find your blog.

pretty sure the writing has been on the wall for a couple of years now.

another two years or so and it will be here, judging by past experiences.

My understanding is that if they don't defend their brand, then when someone who really is a threat to them comes along, it may be too late. Ask them to licence you to use their brand for a nominal fee which would mean you could use it and they would still be protecting it.

They won't allow anyone other than their dealerships to use their brand/logo etc. We asked a few years ago and were given an exceptionally clear NO along with the threat of lawyers.
